     This week, I have focused primarily on continuing research on cardiovascular stents and recent human trials that were completed involving preimplanted medicine.  I also took a trip to Glenwood Middle School with two classmates to help promote the independent research program and discuss with students their interests in future research.  Dr. Karanian has rescheduled a visit for next week to watch him perform testing in his laboratory aong with the implantation of a new upgraded stent.  I can't wait to actually get into his lab after last weeks mishap and now have to focus on finalizign my poject proposal, thesis, and board outline.
