Intimal Proliferation and Restinosis in Paclitaxel-Eluting Stents with
Aminoparylene as Carrier Substance in Swines.
In past years, it has been found that polymer based drugs have a
increased degree of inflammatory and reaction based responses when used
with drug-eluting stents. In this study, a new aminoparylene based
paclitaxel-eluting stent is studied for adverse reactions through
substantial animal based trials in porcine models.
