Patient 1: This patient has Osteoarthritis as described by Anne which is common in older, overweight adults and is severe arthritis that causes and results in deformity. Anne gave the patient ice and told him to use ice fifteen minutes a day for pain. Anne created a splint that will prevent future increase of deformity and help ease pain caused by these joints.

Patient 2: The second patient has tendonitis in her elbow as a result of lifting boxes when moving in the wrong stance and position. Since the pain is great at first, Anne does not give the patient many exercises at first and instead massages, heats, and ices the elbow and tells the patient they will begin strengthening next time.
