Patient 1: An elderly man who had surgery for Dupuytren Disease which is when the tissue within the hand thickens and pulls the fingers towards the palm. Anne created a splint that holds the finger straight up in order to stretch the injury after a disease that disabled this movement. The scar is still fresh and thus needs to be handled with sanitary reprecaution. Since it is his first visit, Anne massages the wound and does not use ultra-sound just yet.
