Patient 1: The woman who sliced her pinky carving pumpkins is towards the end of her therapy sessions. She experiences tightness the more she neglects her stretching and strengthening exercises. At home she can continue stretching and using putty in order to keep her finger straight.
Patient 2: A walk-in came in needing a splint created for a broken index finger that needed to be operated on. Anne created a splint that locks the finger a 130 degree angle as the doctor required so that the finger could heal without tightening the tendon too much.
Patient 3:This patient had a sprained wrist and came to therapy to help diagnose the pain. Anne put her in a splint that disabled bending the wrist at all and told her to refrain from use for a couple weeks and that they could start strengthening therapy after the injury has rested and healed for a while.
