Bibliography: Georgia Inmate Jerry Briggs Jr.

“The United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics, admits that statistically 8% to 12% of all state prisoners are either actually or factually innocent.” –Quote from source

Mr. Jerry Briggs was an accused child molester. Instead of being proven guilty first, he was hauled to jail until he was proven innocent since he was the father. The commission known as SAID, immediately took the children out of Briggs’ control and have given the mother the choice to remove Mr. Briggs from her and her children’s’ lives. “Although the children he has been convicted of molesting vehemently deny the allegations against their father, Jerry Biggs Jr. is still serving the 85 year sentence that resulted from his guilty verdict.”
