Bibliography: A Fighting Custodian

Convicted of child rape, Francis Evelyn, a Brooklyn custodian, sued the city of Brooklyn, New York, for $10 million. He spent twenty long years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. The young girl was eight at the time, and also accused her dad of rape awhile back. Instead of providing a full investigation, the police assumed the perpetrator was Evelyn; therefore, Evelyn was arrested and is now terrified to leave his apartment to this day. (Katz)
