My name is Margo Johnson, and I am a senior at Atholton High School currently interning at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL).
This year, I am interning with Dr. John Samsundar as my mentor. I am working with the problems and uncertainties of GPS equipment, and I am using different types of portable GPS logging devices.
I can view data from the logging devices on Excel, Google Earth, and Google Maps. Below are two actual Google Earth screenshots from a route that I set my data logger to record. At APL, I am also learning and utilizing MATLAB, a numerical computing environment and programming language.
