"The History of the Edison Cylinder Phonograph." Inventors: About. About.com,
     n.d. Web. 13 Mar. 2010. <inventors.about.com...
     bledisondiscphpgraph.htm>.

This source explains the way Edison developed his phonograph. It goes into detail about why he chose the materials he used and the designing process itself. It also lists several uses proposed by Edison for his new device; among them is the reproduction of music. It also tracks the evolution it went under in the first decade of existence. It explains the changes that Alexander Graham Bell made to the design and how Edison came back to working on the phonograph after a short break he took while he worked on the light bulb.

This source will be very helpful for my project because it provides small details about the phonograph as well as explaining what it is and how it came around.
