This first week of the New Year was spent on my thesis and touching up my project proposal which is what we are going to be graded on for the midterm in a few weeks. I also generated another annotation. Outside of school I met with my advisor during my guitar lesson. We talked about how music was written in the past. An example of this is the The Fake Book. The fake book is a collection of songs that were written down by ear in the early half of the 20th century. It was very interesting and also useable for my paper.
