For my final project, I founded my school’s chapter of the International Thespian Society, and honor society for Theatre students. I decided last year, that I wanted to start an ITS chapter at my school, so I set out to do so. I held meetings to inform all the theatre students.  Once everyone submitted their applications, I had to go through each person and validate their points and eligibility. Then, I had to fill out all the registration forms for the chapter and members. Once we were official, I organized and ran our induction ceremony.  It took me only three months to get the chapter up and running, but I was so glad once I did. Since then, I have worked on organizing meetings and events for our chapter to give back to the Theatre Department. We did a lot this year to help with our shows, such as painting signs, building sets, folding programs, ushering, and much more. It took a lot of hard work to start an ITS at Long Reach, but I’m so glad that I was able to do so and give back to Long Reach in a big way.
