Graham Jacobson is a junior at Glenelg High School and an aspiring jazz saxophonist. He has been studying jazz for the past seven years, the past three being under acclaimed saxophonist Paul Carr. Graham is very involved with music in and out of school, participating in the Glenelg High School Marching Unit, Glenelg High School Wind Ensemble, Glenelg High School Jazz Band, Jazz Academy Orchestra, Jazz Academy Combo, his own trio called Cascade, and Maryland All-State Jazz Band. Graham hopes that his mentorship project will enable him to continue to improve his playing and prepare him for collegagiate jazz studies programs.
