Many people believe that the United States government is spending too much money on programs like NASA, while others believe that it is for a legitimate reason. So, point of view is correct? Over the years, we have learned more about our Universe through NASA. NASA has built spacecrafts, telescopes, and has send astronauts to our Solar System to find more information and explanations on our existance. But, is this a good enough reason for the goverment to spend money on? This presentation will inform students on how far engineering has come since ancient times and how we benefit from it at the end.

Janki Patel is a senior at Hammond High School. Her topic for research is mostly based on Aerospace Engineering, something she would like to pursue as her career. Janki has always been interested in the idea of space, and never knew that she would want a career out of it. Over the next few years, she hopes to major in Aerospace Engineering and as well as Astronomy and work at NASA in the future.
