My name is Kathy Smith and I am currently in the Gifted and Talented Independent   Research Program at River Hill High School and researching Equestrian Sports and how to make them safer. Through this project I will be able to find the main problems that cause serious injuries and/or deaths of horses and riders and make a product that helps this problem as well as the community.
