Quarter One Objectives and Journal

My objective for this quarter were:

• Begin preliminary research 
• Begin my internship with Dr. Agwuna  
• Conduct an interview 
• Create an annotated source list 
• Present to peers my project so far 
• Work with Dr. Agwuna to create a panel of nurses to present to  

Journal

            This quarter was full of many experiences that were both challenging and enriching. I began my internship with Dr. Agwuna and I was blown away at all the work that occurs in a pediatric office. I learned how to work with patient. I learned about HIPPA and patient privacy. I also learned how to take a patients vitals for a physical. Also during this quarter I began my preliminary research. By conducting such research I was able to narrow down my topic of interest for my research and then I was able to begin focusing and that particular topic. I also was able to complete my annotated source list that consisted of over thirty source. One of the most interesting things about first quarter was the work load. I was expecting to receive a lot of work and I did but the surprising part was that I was able to organize myself in a way that every thing was turned in on time.
