My name is May Bayomi, and I am a senior at Wilde Lake Highschool. Medicine, specifically neurology, has always been a passion of mine. I am currently interning at the Parkinson's and Movement Disease Center, a diagnostic and research facility for indivuals affected with neurodegenerative disorders. Parternered with associates from Johns Hopkins University, PMDC participates in numerous clinical studies, and has published revolutionary works and products pertaining to the field of neurology. I have had the opportunity to engage on an ongoing study, allowing me to gain vital experiance, while giving my own inputs. With the help of my mentors and associates, we are in the process of publishing an article that would potentially influence the perception of the effects of the mind on the body.
